Upon reaching land, the dangers of the Merchant's Sea are not over. Gangs roam the mountains and the beach itself looking for easy victims. One must be constantly alert throughout the short distance to the village from here.

Board Description
The Merchant's Sea
The Merchant's Sea is so named because, historically, it has been the most accessible route to the village, and as such became the main trade route to and from the village. Although the natural obsticles are comparitively minor, the human dangers are many. Pirates and smugglers litter the waters, and criminal gangs guard the beach head. Confrontations are common and deadly.
