Role-Playing System: “The Book”
Section 1.1, Introduction
This system will focus primarily on the user’s ability to disregard rules and regulations. This will, in effect, offer a smoother role-playing environment unhindered by the staff. This means no keeping track of stats, training points, or distribution of money. These things will be replaced with much simpler methods.
Section 2.1, No Statistics
Instead of statistics, the strength of players will be determined by their rank. All other considerations will be disregarded. Therefore, if two Genin are fighting then the fight will be treated as a strictly text-based battle. Each player will determine through their own means whether or not their characters are injured and how badly they are injured. Only when two players are absolutely unable to sort out amongst themselves whether a match is entirely fair, then they will consult a staff member.
Players will post one after the other in order. If a player posts more than once the other posts may be disregarded.
Players must own all jutsu used. The act of using non-owned jutsu is considered god-modding.
Higher ranked players will beat lower ranked players easier. Lower ranked players must keep that in mind if they wish to participate in battle.
The experience of a player may also be determined by how many matches he/she has proof of winning.
The experience of a player may also be determined by how many missions he/she has proof of succeeding.
A player must ATTEMPT to leave the thread before ever leaving the thread. If a player simply stops posting (for at least 5 days) then the opponent may post again and their character is subject to being killed.
Section 2.2, Training Points
A major change in this system is the distribution of Training Points. There will be no training points for this system. Instead, in order to train a jutsu a user will post a certain number of times for each jutsu rank. Each post must be above the minimum posting limit of 50 words. The system is listed below.
S - Rank Jutsu - 25 posts
A - Rank Jutsu - 20 posts
B - Rank Jutsu - 15 posts
C - Rank Jutsu - 10 posts
D - Rank Jutsu - 5 posts
The player may immediately use the jutsu when there are enough posts. The thread should be preserved with the user as proof of purchase.
Section 3.1, Missions
Another major change to the system is the missions. Players may create their own missions through means of role-playing, regardless of rank. Players may also create missions for other players, whose difficulty will be determined by their rank. However, a user may not create missions higher than his/her own rank. The number of posts required to finish a mission is the same as the number of posts required to train a jutsu. Multiple players may run with one another on a mission. In this case the total number of posts made by the players will count towards the mission completion. If a player enters the mission as an enemy, then their posts will not count towards mission completion.
Missions will be required to take exams or gain character experience.
Note: character experience is not a number. It only says that character A who has completed a mission is more likely to win against character B who has not completed a mission. This should be kept in mind when roleplaying.
A completed mission should be preserved by the users who completed it. They do not need to be shown to a staff member. Other players can opt to see if the requirements of those missions have been met when fighting. Examiners will check this as well.
When creating a mission, use the mission template.

If a mission thread is abandoned it will eventually be marked as failed.
Section 3.2, Character Death
Players won’t want to die, but if they are fairly beaten and their opponent aims to kill, then they won’t have a choice. In the case of character death, the player’s rank and jutsu will be preserved. However, the player must create another character with another background story and name. The number of missions the player has completed will also be reset.
